- Set realistic goals. Rapid weight loss depends on your ability to focus on a disciplined mix of diet and exercise. By setting realistic goals, you will not become discouraged and lose your focus.
- Listen to your body. Though there are many rapid weight loss plans out there, everyone’s body and metabolism reacts differently to these programs. Some people can’t progress on the diet as fast as others. So, substitute a more rigorous exercise program to compensate. Others are not able to exercise as rigorously.
- Don’t eat any carbohydrates after 5pm. This is simple and easy to do. You should limit your eating at night times. Your last meal of the day should consist of mostly protein, vegetables and water. You are not going to be exercising after dinner so there’s no need for the carbohydrates for energy.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day. At least 6-8oz. Weight loss requires your system to be flushed out and this means you must stay hydrated throughout the day. Don’t drink all the water at once, just have small glasses.
- Eat loads of protein and fiber. Protein and fiber rich foods make you feel fuller for longer. Protein uses much more energy to break down, thus you burn more calories when you eat protein rich foods.
- Eat at regular intervals throughout the day. Eating small meals regularly helps keep up your metabolism. You feel less hungry and have more energy. Breakfast is the most important meal, never skip it.
- Cut out processed foods. As a general rule, the more you process it, the less nutrients it contains. This is a simple rapid weight loss tip, the fresher the better!
